How We Work

Since the very beginning Jungle Aid has been about one thing: improving the lives of others by any means. From medical support and life saving surgeries to supplying food and clothing, everything we do aims to help those who have limited resources.

In just a short amount of time we have already had a staggering and truly heartwarming amount of success. We have identified and helped treat a huge variety of health related issues such as malaria, worm infestations, tumours, skin conditions, infections, broken bones to just name a few.

“We hope to make the village sustainable. Everything is looped together — from health to education.

Once people are healthy, they can work more, earn more and be able to afford to send their kids to school. The next generation is then healthier and wealthier than the previous one.”

Remote Medical Clinics

We visit a different community each month to offer healthcare services for those that need it, absolutely free.

Community Development

We help the communities to develop by providing tools, equipment, and facilities such as water tanks or schooling.

Sustainable Solutions

Much of our work focuses on effective short-term solutions, but this is not enough. This is why we spend vast amounts of time planning for long-term sustainable solutions for each community.

Funding Operations

Sometimes we come across patients who require more specialised care. We use our connections to help them get seen by a specialist and raise funds to cover the costs.

Sponsor Local Nurses

We understand the importance of sponsoring and training local nurses within the remote communities so that they can provide sustainable healthcare.

Village Assessments

We assess the villages we support frequently to track their progress and discuss their needs.

Our Progress

We’re passionate about creating sustainable solutions for those less fortunate, using public donations to fund our projects, and sharing the true life changing stories that were made possible by your support. Here’s the progress we’ve made since we started working in 2012.

Where We Work

We currently have projects in 4 communities within Thailand – Bang Saphan, Pong Luek, Pala U Noi, and Pala U Thai. Clean water, healthcare, poverty, political stability, and partner organisations all contribute to where we can offer our support. Our main focus is to provide rural communities with a safe and sustainable way of life.
