Visit to Pala U Village
On Saturday the 22nd of August, 17 of our volunteers travelled to Pala U village for another rewarding day of supporting the local community. The children enjoyed loads of games including face painting, drawing and painting, skipping rope and badminton. Our two volunteer doctors were very busy, providing medical care to 44 patients, mostly for minor illnesses such as common colds and weather-related rashes. We also distributed donations of T-shirts, clothes, toys, milk, snacks, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. A huge thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors for their generous donations and continued support.

Visit to Pala-U Noi Village
On Saturday, the 8th of August, 13 energetic volunteers travelled to Pala-U Noi Village where they were greeted by many smiling faces ready for fun activities and a few surprises. The team treated 36 patients before visiting Platoo for follow-up care and any additional treatment that was needed. The sponsored high school students at the village also led the Health Promotion, children’s activities, and the distribution of donations. It was also a joy setting up and running the activities with the children in the village, including balloon modelling, where they made flowers, swords, and dinosaurs. The Stitch and Bitch ladies also made some beautiful bags for the young teens, filled with donated items that brought big smiles to so many faces. On top of this, we also provide financial support to 30 high school students to help cover their travel expenses to and from school. All in all, it was a lovely day with so much happiness, generosity and kindness spread.
