A visit to Pala U

Our recent visit to the west side of Pa La U was filled with encouraging progress and community spirit. We were delighted to see the completion of a new well, water tank, and water collection centre, providing a vital resource for local families.

Our volunteers treated 22 patients at the medical clinic, while children enjoyed art activities and games. We were especially happy to see young Kanom, who underwent foot surgery last year, now running and playing with confidence—a wonderful reminder of the impact your support can have.

The day ended with the distribution of mosquito nets, toys, toiletries, milk, and snacks. We also took time to remember Grandma Lek, a much-loved member of the community, whose passing was deeply felt.

Thank you to everyone who supports Jungle Aid. Your generosity continues to bring hope, health, and lasting change to these communities.

A visit to Pala-U-Noi

Our June 13th outreach to Pala-U Noi village was another fantastic success, with 13 dedicated Jungle Aid volunteers providing medical care, health education, arts and crafts, and thoughtful gifts for local families. We also distributed bi-monthly education support and toiletries to 30 high school students, who in turn gave their time to help throughout the day.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, supporters, and the wonderful “Stitches and Bitches” group for helping make a real difference in the community. Together, we’re changing lives!

Our recent visit to grandma Lek

One of our regular visits was to Grandma Lek and her family – with a monthly grocery budget of 1,200 baht, we were able to shop for a selection of fresh and nutritious food including fish, milk, pumpkin, watermelon, eggs, brown rice, cauliflower and bok choy. These help ensure Grandma Lek and her family have healthy, fresh food to enjoy together.

An update from Pongluek Village

The students in Pongluek Village got in touch with us to let us know how their vegetable has been getting along. Thanks to the sponsorship of gardening tools by Jungle Aid, the community has begun transforming an old plot of land into a productive vegetable garden. The students worked hard to clear and prepare the area, creating a space where fresh produce can soon be grown. The garden has some established lemongrass, as well as some plans to plant eggplant, green beans, and chillies! This is an amazing example of community effort, practical learning, and sustainable food growing!

An update on our social food and supply project

We want to say a sincere thank you to every person who has supported and contributed to our mission. Because of your generosity, Jungle Aid has been able to continue helping the lives of the communities we work with. Thanks to your kindness, vulnerable individuals receive essential deliveries on a monthly basis, including fresh rice, canned fish and adult diapers.

Shout out to Chidapha Chanauppatham

We’re delighted to celebrate Jungle Aid sponsored student Chidapha Chanauppatham from Pongluek village, who received the incredible honor of designing and creating custom silk dresses for distinguished guests—including Thailand’s Minister of Culture and the South African Ambassador to Thailand—at the 7th Next Silk Designer Contest 2026, held in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Suthida’s birthday.

Now studying Technology Fashion Design and Apparel Innovation at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Chidapha is combining traditional Thai silk craftsmanship with contemporary fashion. Her success is an inspiring testament to her talent, hard work, and the opportunities made possible through education. We couldn’t be prouder!
