Pala U Noi Visit
Despite continuous drizzle, 18 enthusiastic volunteers rolled into Pala-U Noi village with three full trucks of donations and unstoppable energy! Our medical team treated 23 patients, while Jungle Aid-sponsored high school students vibrant with passion led fun, interactive health lessons on dengue, handwashing, and lice prevention. Kids laughed and played through outdoor games, coloring, and playing with model airplanes, shoes, and warm jackets donated by a generous volunteer. Alongside monthly food distributions and vital mosquito nets for local families, we proudly provided bi-monthly financial support to 30 high schoolers who loved giving back by helping lead the day’s activities. Best of all, a home visit to Platoo revealed he is completely wound-free—a triumphant reminder that your support truly makes our part of the world brighter every day!
Our visit to Bang Saphan
Despite driving through heavy rain, 15 dedicated volunteers arrived at the Schoolchildren’s Shelter in Bang Saphan just as the skies cleared for a truly wonderful day! Our medical team cared for 20 patients with warm healthcare and essential birth control services. We arrived fully packed with wholesome groceries—fresh chicken, pork, eggs, and staples—alongside cozy clothing, toothbrush kits, milk, and adorable plush keychains. To bring extra joy, one generous volunteer gifted 40 pairs of brand-new shoes and warm fleece jackets to brighten the children’s faces. A heartfelt thank you to all 15 volunteers and supporters who poured their love and energy into making this magical visit happen!
Pala U Border Patrol School
Jungle Aid is bringing brighter futures and healthier smiles to around 200 vibrant students at Naresuan PalaU Border Patrol School! By donating 1.53 tons of rice in its first school year, the team freed up vital funds so the school could serve delicious, nutrient-packed lunches full of fresh ingredients every single day. To keep the momentum growing, Jungle Aid also built a cheerful DIY free-range coop and introduced 50 happy, naturally foraging hens to provide a steady supply of fresh eggs. This clever, eco-friendly setup uses natural feed and safe food waste, gently guiding the school toward full, sustainable self-sufficiency. It’s a wonderful example of how practical, heartfelt projects can nourish children today while empowering an entire community for tomorrow!
Fresh Food for Grandma Lek and Family
One of our regular visits this month was to Grandma Lek and her family. With a monthly budget of 1,200 baht, we were able to make sure Grandma Lek had a selection of fresh and nutritious food to eat. This included milk, fish, watermelon, pumpkin, eggs, brown rice and cauliflower.
