After a short break off in July, the Jungle Aid Charity Shop is reopened and more upcoming Jungle Aid trips!
Trip to Bang Saphan
On the 4th of July last month, 13 of our volunteers made the three and a half hour trek to the schoolchildren’s shelter in Bang Saphan. Here, we treated 30 patients and distributed 12 sets of birth control. There were quite a few patients this time round due to the rainy season, with mostly colds and rashes.
The Jungle Aid team also brought chicken, pork, eggs, mung beans, fish, noodles and oil, and lots of clothing donations. We also distributed toothbrushes, toothpaste, snacks and milk, and several keychain plushies to each of the children at the center.
We also had drawing and coloring activities and some sports games for the kids.
It was a lovely trip and only made possible because of the generosity of our Hua Hin community.
