This month, Jungle Aid made two trips inland, to Pala U Noi and Pala U.
Trip to Pala U Noi
On Saturday the 7th of February, fifteen Jungle Aid volunteers headed to Pala U Noi to share cheers, smiles and support. In Pala U Noi, our medical clinic successfully treated 23 patients, and also visited Platoo at his house for his bi-monthly check up. The team brought him adult diapers, cushions and a small table.
Our education and support team led an interactive session on dental hygiene and mosquito prevention, specifically for malaria and dengue fever which is common in this region. We also had a massive turnout of 30 high school students, including both new and existing sponsored youths. They were great and helped us run the health promotion activities, the arts and crafts activities and helped us handle the donations. It is so great to see them thriving in their schools.

Trip to Pa La U
On Saturday the 21st of February, we headed back inland but to Pala U Village. Nine of our volunteers made the trip and provided medical treatment to 24 patients, and gave health promotions in basic hygiene. The team also had a great time playing with the children, specifically playing some sports and art and crafts activities. Little Kanom who is 3 months old is recovering well from his foot surgery, a big thank you to our anonymous sponsor as well! The team also distributed milk, snacks, soap, soft toys, and toothbrushes and toothpaste to the villages. A great day all in all!
