Communities deep within the jungle areas, as well as within the vicinity of Hua Hin continue to need basic essentials, health care and support to develop sustainable ways to improve the quality of lives.
One of the Jungle visits this month was to the remote villages of Pongluek and Bangkhloi villages. The volunteer medical team treated grateful patients. Vital supplies, donated, shopped and loaded by ‘Mystica Bangar’ themselves, were delivered. Additionally, as part of the partnership with the charity ‘Rescue P.A.W.S.” dogs were also treated for fleas and parasites. As always the distribution of donated clothing was happily received by the villages.
Another example of the provision of sustainable change was seen by volunteers making a visit to Naresuan PalaU Border Patrol School. Pupils were taking the national tests digitally, thanks to the donation of computers by Jungle Aid.
Jungle Aid is so fortunate to have generous donors who are touched by the needs of our communities and the work carried out to support them by dedicated volunteers. This month Bob Blair’s Golfers donated a massive, 20,000 thb to Jungle Aid. This has become an annual event for the Golfing party and the villages supported by Jungle Aid will benefit directly from this donation. Thank you to Bob and the golfers and to all the volunteers and donors who give valuable time, skills and funding; you are all making a difference to lives.
