Jungle Aid supports communities in a myriad of different ways and one incredibly important way is through the monthly visits to individual patients in their homes. Essential medical care is provided by out volunteers and lives are lifted.

Jungle Aid does not just provide support; given the spirit of the volunteers joy also arrives with a visit by the team. This was particularly evident on Children’s Day on the Jungle aid visit to Bang Saphan. Basic provisions and medical aid were welcomed as were the fun activities and children’s day gifts. There was laughter and smiles all round.

As well as supporting scholarships for students from JA communities, Jungle Aid has embraced the involvement of local young people. Students from HHIS gave practical assistance in the packing of: 17 sacks of fish food, 100 kgs of rice, bedding, clothes as well as medicines and hygiene and were able to see that they can make a difference to the lives of others.

None of the great support can of course be given without the generous support of the wonderful volunteers and donors.

February closed with a fantastic evening at Monsoon Valley Winery. Not only was this a highlight of the social calendar but raised an enormous 137,000 Baht. Huge thanks Monsoon Valley and to all the volunteers.

Thank you for all you do. You are changing lives for the better.
