What an incredibly busy month it has been for the Jungle Aid community of volunteers and donors.

The response to the needs for basic food supplies and medicines was exemplified by the visit to Bang Saphan’s school children’s centre and to Naresuan PalaU Border Patrol School. The JA team of medical volunteers held clinics and great appreciation was shown for the bountiful rice supplied by Bangkok Ladies. As winter approaches warm clothing was also warmly welcomed by the villagers. The JA construction team swooped in to improve some buildings in need of repair as well and the dogs were not forgotten either as Rescue Paws joined the visit.

Alongside the urgent daily needs JA is investing in future generations through education. Volunteers give guidance on health issues on visits and now with recent generous donations, the number of scholarships that JA provides has increased to 68. Applications are coming in for next term now too. After being supported for 4 years by JA, we are delighted to announce the successful graduation of Kanitha, who gained a degree in Accounting. Huge congratulations go to Kanitha. All the JA scholarship students have dreams and aspirations and they in turn will make a difference not just to their lives but to the lives of their families and communities.

Christmas is approaching and children across Hua HIn are busy filling shoe boxes with gifts to bring smiles to children in our rural villages. It is no surprise that Wayne’s favourite job, out of his myriad of JA jobs, is the Shoe Box Santa delivery.

The key fundraising events of the Hua HIn World Football and Banyan Golf Event are taking place on December 9th and 10th. Thank you for the support for these events.

As we go into the festive season, massive thanks go to the wonderful JA Community of Volunteers and Donors for changing lives and making it Christmas every day of the year.

Happy Christmas!
