The big news this month is that the Jungle Aid Foundation has been accredited for a further two years by CAF (Charities Aid Foundaiton). This is a global grantmaking organisation. Congratulations to all our volunteers and donors for making this possible; it is a huge endorsement of the tremendous work carried out by the amazing JA team.
Every donation and support makes a difference. This is exemplified by the generosity of Monique Osborne and Elliot Connors which enabled Khun Niwat’s young family to have their leaking roof repaired by our volunteers. This family also now have new bedding provided by the First Choice Suites. Khun Niwat’s smile (below) says it all.
Fundraising events carried on through the month of August with an amazing 70,000 thb being raised by the Monsoon Valley’s Vineyard Festival Charity Night and a really successful Flea Market.
