Volunteers are needed to support the Golf Charity Event on December 10th, 11th and 12th.
Last year this event raised a huge amount for Jungle Aid which ensured we were able to continue the work we do especially when we have had such a difficult year with covid.
This is a really fun event! If you can give some time to sell raffle tickets, hand out leaflets and support the golfers, please email Lada as soon as possible [email protected] We will provide Jungle Aid T-shirts for you.
Impact of Jungle Aid’s Work – US Funding recognition
Jungle Aid’s Work and has been recognised by CAF America (Charity Aid Foundation America). This is a global grant giving organisation, which assists corporations, foundations, and individuals. As a US public charity, CAF America is able to accept funds from US donors who can then recommend that CAF America use those funds to support foreign charitable organisations or projects.
This is a major step forward for us as a charitable organisation and we are honoured and delighted to have already received funding from US donors Cisco and Sealed Air as a result of this recognition.
Again, it was the tremendous team work of Jungle Aid volunteers that helped us achieve this.
Flea market – November 12th
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to raise funds at the Jungle Aid Flea Market.
Bang Saphan Shelter Update
Much needed essential food items including baby formula for the thriving baby twins, were delivered on one of the wettest of days. The volunteers limit their contact, but were still able to provide vital medical assistance and supplies. The clothing was also well received and the four scooters were a big hit!
The villagers and volunteers are hopeful that educational activities, crafts, Art and Sports will soon be able to be resumed as they are really missed.
Daily lives of the people in Pala-U-Noi have been severely affected by the recent heavy rains but thanks to volunteers and donations from Jungle Aid their lives have been eased now that supplies have been fully distributed.
