Unintentional injury has been identified as identified as a public health problem in Thainland as it is the leading cause of death among both children and adolescents. Jungle Aid’s newest initiative is an injury assessment in each of the villages we serve to identify the the leading causes of injury/death in children and adolescents in the past year.

The goal of this assessment is to create targeted health promotion activities aimed at the top causes of injury/death in each village to prevent such events from happening in the future.

Jungle Aid Area Manager and Translator meet with the village leader to collect data about unintentional childhood injuries
