In the Spring of 2018, a decision was made to rent a long term space for Jungle Aid. The purpose of the space was to serve as a central location of all Jungle Aid equipment and operations.

Fast forward one year, having a central location for our volunteers to work from has been an important asset to Jungle Aid’s efficiency in providing for vulnerable people living in isolated communities around Thailand.

The house has become a hub of activity and meeting area for volunteers in an effort to sort all the wonderful donations we receive. These items can now be sorted and sent out on the monthly trips to each village.

The donations that cannot be used in the villages (i.e. electronics, furniture and large size clothing and shoes) are now sold off in a flea market, held approximately every three months.

The funds raised during the flea markets are essential in enabling Jungle Aid to provide the necessities identified or requested by the leaders of each community.

The next Jungle Aid flea market will be held on September 11, 2019 from 4pm to 6pm. If you are in the Hua Hin area, please come out and have a look!
